Google Voice Actions – you talk, your phone acts!

WOW. Google Voice Actions (GVA) powers a list of voice commands for your Android OS phone, allowing you to talk instead of type. Oprah will be so proud of you!

For instance… Need a phone number? You could call 411 like you did in the 80′s. You could use Goog 411 like you did last year or, you can show your prowess of mobile phone technology and use GVA. Just tap the microphone button then say: “call Pizza Hut, Main St”. Your awesome phone will do the rest by searching Google for that location, retrieving the number, then placing the call for you! It’s like your own personal concierge.

GVA commands:

  • Send text message
  • Listen to music
  • Get directions
  • Call contacts
  • View map
  • Note to self
  • Go to website
  • Send email
  • Search Google
  • … and more!
